Letter of Inquiry

Dear LOI Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in the John Gogian Family Foundation. We are committed to providing a positive and lasting impact in the lives of abused and neglected youth and the developmentally disabled, by enabling a safe and stable environment in which they can live and grow.

The Foundation's grant process and deadlines are outlined in detail in the Grant Guidelines and How To Apply sections on this website.

The Foundation utilizes a 2-step application process. The first step in applying is to fill in the following Letter of Inquiry (LOI) and Project Budget (PDF) by the designated deadline. Organizations will be notified of the outcome of their LOI within 45 days of the deadline.

Those organizations that best fit the Foundation’s grant guidelines, criteria, and funding priorities will be invited to submit a full grant application, which will be e-mailed to the organization.

The Foundation’s staff will screen incoming funding requests to determine eligibility and conduct in-depth proposal reviews. Funding requests that meet the Foundation’s stated objectives and evaluation criteria will be scheduled for a site visit before being sent to the Board of Directors for a final determination. Grant applications will be reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors in May and November. Organizations may be funded only once in a calendar year.

Thank you for all you do on behalf of the abused and neglected youth and developmentally disabled children and adults in Los Angeles County.

Regards,

Lindsey Stammerjohn
