How to Apply

Letter of Inquiry

The Foundation has two grant cycles per year but only one LOI cycle. To apply for a grant, an organization must first fill out the Letter of Inquiry (LOI). Organizations will be notified of the outcome of their LOI within 60 days of the submission deadline.

Organizations must submit the LOI via U.S. Mail or commercial carrier, postmarked by the deadline. The Foundation does not accept faxed, emailed, or hand-delivered applications.

Full Application

Those organizations that best fit the Foundation’s grant guidelines, criteria, and funding priorities will be invited to submit a full Grant Application, which will be emailed to the organization. Completed applications received by the due dates will be scheduled for a site visit and reviewed by the Board of Directors in May and November at their Board meetings. The Board of Directors will review approximately 30 grant requests per year.
